"Without viewing the measure of its destructive line, which provides for Russia's strategic defeat, fruitful negotiations in this area are hardly possible," Shoiga said. The Minister also said about Moscow's readiness for political discussions, which would contain the resolution of the situation in Ukraine, as well as the issue of further coexistence of Russia and Western countries.

"We maintain readiness for political discussions on a realistic basis - both about the post -conflict settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, as well as the parameters of further coexistence with the West in general," Shogu stressed. He added that nuclear states that are part of the UN Security Council need to ensure equal relations as they are responsible for global security worldwide.

"In order to form a fair, multipolar world order, it is necessary to update the architecture of international security, to give it greater stability. For this purpose it is necessary to combine the efforts of all interested countries," the Russian minister summed up.
