In the Russian city of Nizhnyokamsk, a petrochemical plant suddenly caught fire (video)

Share: It is officially reported about some enterprise in the industrial zone, but in the public it is assumed that one of the enterprises "Nizhnyokamsknaftokhim", which specializes in the construction of the petrochemical and energy industry, caught fire. Since Russian mass media are usually extremely reluctant to report on fires at Russian plants and refineries, the Supernova publication geolocated the fire and assumed that Tatneftekhimremstroy caught fire.

This company in Nizhnyokamsk, Tatarstan, Russia, which is a production unit of Nizhnyokamsknaftokhim, specializes in the construction, repair and modernization of petrochemical and energy industry facilities. The company performs a full cycle of work — from the manufacture of metal structures to the installation of technological equipment. On the video, which appeared in local media, you can see billows of black smoke and a whole convoy of ambulances.

At the same time, official resources say that there are no victims. The cause of the fire is unknown, but in some videos commentators talk about an explosion. It will be recalled that the Alabuga production zone is located in Tatarstan, where drones of the Shahed type are produced. In September, it was attacked by UAVs.
