Iran and Russian confrontation: Israel and allies are preparing for the biggest Blue Flag 2023 exercises

The YNET Israeli Resource reported about the details of the air exercises to begin in late October. In addition to Tsagali Air Force, the pilots of Italy, the USA, France, Greece, Germany and other countries will take part in large -scale exercises. In particular, at the initiative of the German side, actions aimed at neutralizing the complexes of air defense C-400, as well as strikes on the objects of the conditional enemy in the deep rear, were added to the scenario.

To accomplish these tasks, aviation will enter the space of the Mediterranean. "These exercises will simulate deep attack scenarios. From the Air Force, it is a central part of preparation for a possible attack on nuclear objects in Iran through the approach of the Islamic Republic to the opportunity to enrich Uranus to the level necessary for the creation of nuclear weapons," the publication reads.

Five squadron aircraft will be involved in the exercise, and up to 60 combat aircraft will be raised in the air. The French planes RAFAEL, Greek F-16, American and Italian F-35 and German Eurofighter, including a plane painted by the flags of Israel and Germany, as well as reconnaissance and radio-electronic fighting, will take part in the maneuvers.

According to Igal Levin, the Officer of the Israeli Defense Army and the editor of the Military Focus, the peculiarity of these exercises will be that the forces of the Reds - that is, enemies - will be the conditional air forces of the Russian Federation and Iran. The main air base for the West will be a military airfield of UVS in the south of Israel.

In addition to direct participants in Blue Flag 2023, observers from more than 20 countries, including the leadership of the Air Force of Japan, Morocco and the UAE, will arrive there. It is noteworthy that experts from the United Kingdom refused to participate in the exercises, referring to a large number of urgent operational tasks, and India's pilots would not arrive at the air base, since Israel previously rejected their requests for submission to the training program for various reasons.
