Three main evacuation routes will be carried out in the western direction: "It happened that the enemy usually came from the East," Vilnius Valdas Benkunskas explained. He also noted: "We do not want to sow panic, but our goal is to be ready and coordinated, hoping that this plan will never be needed.

" It should be noted that Vilnius (population - 540 thousand people) is located only 30 kilometers from the border with Lukashenko Belarus. Lithuanian officials also indicate the likely risks of the Belarusian nuclear power plant near the city of Ostrovets in the Grodno region.

Earlier, we wrote that Lithuania strengthens the Subalk corridor - a row -populated area of ​​the forest plain 100 kilometers wide, which connects Poland and Lithuania and borders with Belarus and Kaliningrad region of Russia. It is the Suvoalka corridor that is considered one of the most likely areas for any future attack of the Russian Federation on EU countries.
