The full -scale Russian invasion changed the level of salaries of 75% of Ukrainians, and positive dynamics were observed only for 3%. At the same time, employers mainly retained other means of support of employees (so -called social packages): official jobs (71%), long leave (61%) and paid hospital (51%). The company investigated changes in the level of salaries in the war period, depending on the position, level of professionalism, gender and knowledge of English. The impact of war on the labor market: 30%of respondents lost the work of the coronavirus epidemic and the war affected the number of respondents who work remotely (16%) or hybrid format (22%). However, due to the specifics of the position, 62% of respondents work in the office, store, pharmacy and more.

Almost 18% of the survey participants changed the city or country of residence. The negative impact of the war was felt by 30%of respondents who were reduced or released (19%), or the company itself closed (11%). But most employers retained their employees: - 33% of respondents said that the company first suspended their activities, but then the employees returned to work; - 27% of respondents said that the war did not affect their employment.

The portrait of a modern employee: the higher the education, the higher the salary of the vast majority of staff (93%) works in Ukrainian business. Moreover, two -thirds of employers - a company with a history for more than 10 years. Ukrainian workers are educated people. Most respondents have higher education: - 66% graduated from institutes, academies, universities; -25% have vocational education; - 9% have secondary education and studied in schools, lyceums and high schools.

In general, there is a relationship between education and salary. For example, higher education sellers receive a higher salary. The schedule shows the salary of sales consultants depending on the type of education. The columns on the chart indicate the median salary. The same tendency is observed among agronomists. The linguistic factor almost half of the respondents studied English and has an elementary level and higher.

A little more than 6% of them know the high level: - beginner (beginner) - 32%; -did not study (-la)-23%; - elementary (elementary) - 22%; - intermediate (average) - 16%; -UPPER-INTERMEDIATE (above average)-5%; - Advanced (advanced) - 1%; - Proficient (perfect language proficiency) - 0. 3%. In this case, the level of salary can be directly related to language knowledge, as it allows the specialist to work with foreign clients.

The link between the level of salary and the level of knowledge of English on the example of sales / customer managers is illustrated below. The highest salaries from sales managers with English Proficient and Advanced. To get more, you need to speak the language perfectly or at an advanced level. All other levels do not give significant benefits. Columns on graphs mean median salaries.

Salaries through the eyes of employees: in a quarter of the surveyed salaries did not change the question: "How did the war influence your salary?" At the same time, 3% of respondents increased. Among the negative consequences of the war are the reduction of workers (19%) and a significant reduction in salaries (36%). It is noteworthy that nearly a tenth of companies have tied payroll to foreign currency, the rest continues to pay wages in UAH regardless of exchange rate fluctuations.

Most employees (65%) do not receive bonuses for their work. Other workers have the most popular type of bonus - up to 20% of wages (16% of respondents). Social package and guarantees: 71% of respondents officially work for the majority of respondents (71%) that they were officially registered and working on the employment record. As a FOP, 5% of employees are issued, 1% of employees are arranged under a civil or employment contract. 22% of those polled do not have official employment.

Almost two -thirds of respondents have 24 or more calendar days of vacation per year. In 12% of employees, leave is 15-24 days, 5% have the opportunity to rest 5–10 days and 2% of those surveyed indicated the shortest leave - up to 5 days. The most popular component of the social package is the payment of hospital: 51% of respondents noted its presence. 15% of the study participants have no social package at all.

The rest of the respondents noted that their social package consists of: - health insurance - 14%; - payment of additional education - 5%; - English courses - 3%; - payment/compensation for sports - 3%. Who earns the most: thirty -year -olds, men and professionals all the salaries below are given after tax deductions (what the employee receives "in his hands"). The salaries indicate three indicators: - and the perch; - median; - III quartil.

Among the researchers, salaries are considered that the values ​​located near and the quartile correspond to the remuneration of the junior specialist with minimal work skills. The median is a medium -market remuneration of specialists who have experience of at least 2-3 years and are at an average level. The salaries of the III quartile and above meet the remuneration of specialists with excellent professional skills (high level).

So, wages from employees for 12 most common positions (the figure near the position is the number of questionnaires received). From the answers of the interviewed workers who indicated the gender, we see that for 8 studied positions with 12 - men pay more than women. For example, a chef of the highest category of male sex pay 18 000 UAH, and a woman - 15 000 UAH, a professional manager for sale the man earns 22 000 UAH, and a woman - 18 000 UAH.

The positions of accountants, economists, cashiers, office managers, waiters and sales consultants are mostly working women, while men are more among storekeepers and equipment. The highest salaries are received by specialists aged 25 to 34, the lowest - respondents aged 16 to 25 years. The schedule below indicates the medians of salaries for all positions where employees indicated their age.

The survey was attended by 600 employers and 20,000 thousand employees working in the most common positions.

The salary analysis does not take into account the answers of participants who lost their work more than 3 months ago and have not found a new (about 8,000 people) to make the results as relevant as possible. The main industries that cover the survey:-hotel and restaurant business, tourism; - logistics; - medicine, pharmaceutical; - agriculture, agribusiness; - trade (shops, supermarkets); - Finance, banking.
