Currently, the mobilization law provides for a delay from the call only for full relatives whose brother or sister has been killed or missing during the ATO or a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation. According to the initiator of the bill, People's Deputy Alexei Goncharenko, such injustice in the attitude arose after the adoption of a new law on mobilization. "I think it was a big mistake to remove the norm of single relatives.

After the passage of the law on mobilization, there was only a delay for full brothers or sisters. And in practice, there was an unpleasant situation: one woman whose son was killed in the war, taking away the other son only Because she gave birth to another woman in another marriage. Earlier, the Ministry did not support the initiative, which provides for a ban on the mobilization of Ukrainians aged 18 to 25 years, which have not previously passed the conscript service and did not graduate from the military department, as well as those who received the status of "restricted" in wartime. The bill also provides for the right to release if such people have managed to take it to the front.

Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military expert Oleg Zhdanov notes that earlier it was believed that minor brothers and sisters were not direct family ties. However, this norm was decided to review. "Global humanization is ongoing now, it is believed that the family is the basis of society, and therefore minor brothers and sisters - family members. And deprive them On the other hand, they are not recognized as a family.

Zhdanov adds that the deferral in the legislation is provided for all servicemen whose blood relatives have died in the war or missing. "If a father, mother, brother or sister, at least one of his relatives died or missed, will not call anyone from this family anymore. Such a norm is. According to Goncharenko, if the amendment is supported by the Verkhovna Rada and the law will come into force, those who are concerned with this rule will need to provide the CCC with relevant documents confirming the affinity with the dead or missing family member.
