Russia lays Gambite in peace talks using media: Sky News analysis

According to journalists, the "clear first course" of Russia before the expected peace talks with the Trump administration was made with the media. The first statements were made by the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov, who oversees the issues of relations with the US and control of weapons. The first steps before the peace talks of Russia and Ukraine were taken with the help of media. Sky News writes about it.

"There were many talk about possible meetings and contacts between [President of the Russian Federation] Vladimir Putin and [the head of the White House] by Donald Trump," - said the correspondent of the newspaper Air Bennett. On the morning of February 10, the statements of the Deputy Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov were heard, which oversees the issues of relations with the US and control over weapons in the Russian Federation.

He outlined what Russia wants from negotiations. According to him, the Trump administration "denotes interest" in the reconstruction of dialogue with the Russian Federation, but there is no schedule of contacts of heads of state. He also noted that the conditions set out in Putin in June last year should be fulfilled if any negotiations are held. The terms refer to Ukraine's refusal to the ambitions of NATO accession.

"This is clearly the first course of Russia to these expected peace talks," the publication reads. According to journalists, through the media, Russia marked its "red lines" for negotiations. Recall that the GUR answered whether to wait for peace in Ukraine after the Munich Conference, which, according to the speaker of consciousness Andrei Yusov, should bring good news.
