Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signed an order according to which all

For the sake of "improving efficiency": Shogu ordered all PECs in Russia to sign a contract with the Defense Ministry

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signed an order according to which all "volunteer units" should go "under the wing" of the main military department of Russia until July 1 this year. In order to "increase the efficiency" of the use of the so -called volunteer units of Russian invaders in the war against Ukraine, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu signed a new order.

According to him, such military formations should conclude a contract with the Ministry of Defense of Russia by July 1, said on the website of the military agency of the aggressor country. Russian authorities call "volunteer formations" in particular private military companies, including Wagner PEC. But formally, according to the legislation of the Russian Federation, such organizations are prohibited in Russia.

Therefore, using the term "volunteer formation" of Russian authorities can control and regulate the activities of mercenaries. But the report of the Ministry of Defense of Russia does not clearly state which detachments should conclude a contract. According to Mykola Pankov, Deputy Shoigu, such a decision will provide a "voluntary detachment" with the required legal status and create uniform approaches to organizing their security and fulfilling their tasks at the front.

According to Pankov's statement, the new order of Shoigu gives the right to all so -called volunteers to conclude a contract either with volunteer units or from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In this case, they will become contractors of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Pankov noted that such a solution will help to increase the combat capabilities and efficiency of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, including volunteer formations.

A similar order appeared against the background of the conflict between the owner of the Wagner PEC Yevgeny Prigogin and the Ministry of Defense of Russia, which has been going on for several months. The Chief "Wagner" accuses the military department of the Russian Federation that he is not given ammunition and, against the background of this prison, even suggested to release Shoiga and Valery Gerasimov, the chief of the Russian General Staff.

Recently, Prigogine even stated that it is soon worth waiting for the so -called one. The owner of the Wagner PEC Sarcastically thanked the Group of the Higher Command of the Ministry of Defense for "Victory in the Third World War". He hinted that the Russian army did not fulfill its military plans. We remind that Prigogine appealed to Russia's power to allocate 200,000 soldiers in order to stop the Armed Forces counter -offensive.
