Inflation, unemployment and alcoholism: social tension is growing in Russia - GUR

According to Ukrainian intelligence, local officials and special services are already spoken about the problems within Russia. People continue to lose sources of income. Social tension continues to grow on the territory of the Russian Federation and is directly related to the war, which was started by President Vladimir Putin. About it reports the General Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense (GUR MOU) on November 30.

It is noted that the increase in tension in the European part of the country is fixed. People are increasingly dissatisfied with what is happening lately. Moreover, Russian officials and representatives of special services were noticed by the worsening of the social situation, they write at GUR MOU. They report it to the top management of the Kremlin through closed reports.

"According to Ukraine's military intelligence, the increase in the protest activity of the Russian population is expressed by the higher dissatisfaction with the war against Ukraine. There is also a deterioration of the criminogenic situation within Russia," the report reads. Intelligence representatives noted that the increase in crime rate in the neighboring country is primarily due to the fact that people began to lose stable sources of income.

It is difficult to find a new job, so prohibited methods are in progress. It is separately recorded that the Russian population began to drink alcohol even more often. "Also, increased social tensions in Russia are directly influenced by high inflation and rising consumer prices," IUU summed up. It should be reminded that on November 30 it was reported that the Russian Federation is not capable of creating a cohesive group for defense of the Kherson region.
