According to sources, Belgian counterintelligence was likely to raise the issue of Cyril Logvinov's expulsion, but the European Foreign Affairs Service (EEAS) expressed the opposite position, perhaps fearing the possible negative consequences for her own diplomats in Russia. Vice president of the European Parliament Martin Goisik, at the request of the co -authors of the study, was surprised that Logvinov has not yet been sent.

"If the Belgian security structures were really recommended to send it, I am very interested in why EEAS did not do it," the official said.
