The published photos from the aerodrome show a pillar of thick smoke. The comments state that, according to eyewitnesses, not one but at least two TU-22m3 military planes were damaged due to the impact of the drone. The local authorities also confirmed the drone attack on the airfield in the Novgorod region. The governor of the region of the region Gleb Nikitin stated that the situation in the region is "calm and controlled", all safety measures have already been taken.
