Pokrovsk under the control of the Armed Forces: Ukrainian units are not surrounded and repel enemy attacks, — General Staff

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there is no encirclement of Ukrainian units in the region, and defense measures are aimed at blocking and deterring the enemy's attempts to infiltrate the city. The military is actively countering enemy groups that are trying to gain a foothold in Pokrovsk.

In the city itself, Ukrainian forces are carrying out search and strike operations, involving assault units of the 425th separate assault brigade, SBS operators, consolidated groups of SSpO, VSP of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the National Guard and the GUR of the MoU. In addition, the units directly defending the city were additionally strengthened.

During the past day, our troops eliminated 26 Russian invaders and wounded another 64, as well as destroyed or damaged 58 enemy infantry shelters in Pokrovsk and its surroundings. Since the beginning of the week, the total losses of the enemy in the Pokrovsky direction are 249 people (159 of them irretrievably lost), 7 control points of unmanned aerial vehicles, 26 units of automobile and motorcycle equipment, a tank and an armored combat vehicle.

At the same time, Ukrainian troops are working to strengthen the flanks of the agglomeration's defenses and ensure the security of logistics routes. The Dobropil operation continues: over the past day, assault units have advanced in separate directions from 100 to 700 meters. In total, since the beginning of the operation, as of November 5, 2025, 188. 9 km² of territory has already been liberated and 249. 9 km² has been cleared of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

In addition, as stated in the report of the General Staff, Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsky direction stopped 52 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Novye Shakhove, Chervyn Liman, Myrnograd, Novoeconomichne, Rodynske, Lysivka, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirovka, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Novoukrainka, and Dachne.
