"Second Energy Front at Putin's Instruction": Zelensky responded to Fitzo threats

The President of Ukraine is convinced that Fitzo draws Slovakia into the efforts of Russia to "pain for Ukrainians", and such actions of the prime minister will have consequences for the Bratislava and the Slovak people. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the statements of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo on reducing the supply of electricity are the "second energy front", which the authorities in Bratislava opened at the instructions of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

This is stated in a statement by the head of state on his official account on Telegram. The head of state is convinced that only this way should the threat of Fitzo overlap Ukraine "an extraordinary supply of electricity in winter in Russian blows to our power plants and distribution network. " Zelensky believes that Fitzo draws Slovakia into Russia's efforts to "hurt Ukrainians. " Therefore, the Ukrainian president reminded the Slovak premiere several key theses on this issue.

"We remind Fitzo that, firstly, the support of criminal Russian aggression is absolutely immoral. Second, the short-sighted Fitzo policy has already left the people of Slovakia without compensation for the loss of Russian gas transit, and can leave the people of Slovak which Ukraine pays for imported electricity, " - said in a statement of the Head of State.

Zelensky adds that the Slovak people will be more profitable "to cooperate with neighbors and the EU" to increase energy supply to reduce the price of energy "for most families [in Slovak]. " "Any arbitrary decisions in Bratislava or Moscow orders for Fitzo on electricity will not lead to the stopping of electricity to Ukraine, but can accurately break the current Slovakia power with the European community," the Heads of State stated.

We will remind, Focus wrote that Slovakia threatens Ukraine with the shutdown of electricity due to the cessation of transit of gas of the Russian Federation. After January 1, the Fitzo government will evaluate possible measures in response to Ukraine. At this stage, Kyiv imports electricity from five countries. At the same time, experts say that Fitzo's statement will not affect the power system of Ukraine.
