I ignored the combat summons and looked after the grandmother: how punished the man who wanted to in the Armed Forces

The judge took into account that the citizen wants to atone for guilt and pay off his homeland. Therefore, he will not sit in the colony and has a trial to correct. The Ukrainian, who worked as a tractor driver before the war, came to court because of charges of evasion. The man pleaded guilty and stated that he would like to mobilize to the Armed Forces. The court declared the sentence, taking into account the repentance and intention to go into the army - three years conditional.

The details of the case are referred to in the sentence of the Kolomyia City Court of Ivano-Frankivsk region. On April 26, the judge of Kolomyia released a sentence in the case of a man who first passed all stages of clarification of data and VLK, and then did not appear in the military unit. In doing so, he pointed out the cause of evasion - grandmother's disease and change of life priorities. As a result, he was found guilty of Article 336 - for evasion of conscription.

The person received three years of imprisonment, but with a half year and a half. The sentence states that the punishment was softened in view of his behavior. The text of the sentence described the course of events that happened in early 2023. In particular, on March 1, the man received a summons from the employees of the Territorial Center of Acquisition (TCC and JV) and appeared in the military enlistment office on March 6.

In the military enlistment office, the Military Medical Commission (VLK) found it suitable. Already on March 9, he had to appear in the military unit. However, it is in those days that the grandmother of the person involved in the case, is indicated in the case. She later had a stroke. In the end, the man decided that he would better look after a sick relative.

During the trial, which happened in the spring of 2024, the citizen stated that he was repeated in his behavior and would like to "defend the Motherland" to redeem guilt. The court took into account the repentance, so he imposed the least punishment with the term. It should be noted that on May 18, 2024, the law on strengthening mobilization, which concerns changes in the military account, updates the list of grounds for deferral and booking, abolishes conscript military service.

MPs did not introduce new punishments for persons who evade mobilization - all articles of the Criminal Code are in force, there are no changes. Instead, they imposed a single punishment for men who evade visits to Tuk: they will be restricted in the right to drive a car. Meanwhile, Ukrainians were lined up in large queues to upgrade military accounting or put on military registration.

When it became known about the queues, the Command of the Land Forces reported that military enlistment offices should work around the clock and without weekends. We would like to remind you that on April 26, the lawyer explained whether it was necessary to re -go to the military enlistment office if there was a visit in 2023. In addition, the Tax Code stated that men would have 60 days to update data, starting with the date of entry into force of the law on enhancing mobilization.
