The Russian sources, which are mentioned by analysts, note the promotion of the Armed Forces in the western and northwestern outskirts of Avdiivka and Verbov. "Russian sources claim that the Ukrainian forces are 200-300 meters from Russian positions in the west of Verbov," the ISW publication reads.

Russian sources are also referring to the Armed Forces on the line on the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kramenne, but without success. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation reflected the attacks of Ukraine in the area of ​​Sinkivka, Ivanivka, Novorivka, Makivka, Dibrovy (7 km from Kreminna) and Serebryansky forestry. Russian troops say that Ukrainian forces from time to time are unsuccessful attacks in the Kreminna area.

The Ukrainian military analyst Petro Chernik said that Russian troops concentrated 100,000 people in the direction of Kupyansk-Lyman to distract the forces of the Armed Forces from the offensive on Bakhmut. According to him, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation can achieve some success in the mentioned direction, but they will need much more strength to capture the territory.

"In the Zaporizhzhya direction, our defenders did not allow the loss of positions southwest of Novodanylivka, robots and west of the Verbov Zaporizhzhya region," - reads in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. It should be reminded that, according to the commander of the third assault brigade Andriy Biletsky, the invaders lost their opportunities for a counter -offensive in southern Bakhmut.
