To keep Ukrainian prisoners of war during a public

Cages on the stage of Mariupol Philharmonic: preparation for the "tribunal" over Ukrainian military continues

To keep Ukrainian prisoners of war during a public "court", the invaders are mounted cages directly on the stage. In the occupied Mariupol, the Russians are preparing to hold the court over Ukrainian prisoners of war. This was stated by the mayor of Mariupol Sergey Boychenko. It has been spoken of in Russia and in the occupied territories of Donetsk region for the third month.

Perhaps the first meeting will take place on Independence Day of Ukraine, August 24, this is stated in the material of the focus: "Tribunal" in Mariupol. Whom Russia wants to plant in cages. " To carry it on the stage of the Mariupol Chamber Philharmonic, prison cells are mounted to keep them "suspects".

"Keeping in cages during a court can be regarded as ill -treatment under international humanitarian law and human rights," said Focus Vitaliy Hekalo, a lawyer of the Ukrainian legal advisory group. - It is a Soviet practice that continues in the world. In the world, either in or without a glass chamber is kept. The result is already obvious. It is created to create an additional impact on the negotiation process between Ukraine and Russia. And not just about the exchange of prisoners of war.

" College Hekealo Andriy Yakovlev, a lawyer, is convinced: "The occupation administration announces the future lawsuit in every possible way, allowing photography and distribution of photos of the lattice. Even demonstration of photographs of the place of the future trial immediately allows its course and results. " He says, in vain, the process begins with the arrangement of a thick grate.

"It is necessary to humiliate the Ukrainian prisoners at the same time and to demonstrate the presumption of guilt, to influence the audience of both domestic and external community," Yakovlev explains. At the same time, lawyers recognize that it is difficult to influence the process of preparation and holding of the so -called tribunal in Ukraine. In any case, this "tribunal" will have no legal force.

According to the mayor of Mariupol Vadim Boychenko, the occupying authorities are preparing to hold a Tribunal on Independence Day of Ukraine. The indicative process of captives of the Ukrainian military is intended to show the imaginary "victory" of the Russian Federation over Ukraine and raise the morale of the Russians, since Russian troops are unable to achieve the desired success in the war.
