Poland is the only one does not finance the Czech initiative to purchase ammunition for the Armed Forces - the media

Within its initiative, the Czech Republic plans to put about 100,000 artillery shells in Ukraine in September, the newspaper writes. By August this year, several dozen countries have joined the Czech initiative for Ukraine and made different amounts. Germany sacrificed the most. The only ones who have not yet listed any zloty were Poles. About it writes the Polish edition of Gazeta Wyborza.

It is noted that 18 countries have joined the Czech Initiative for Ammunition for Ukraine outside the EU and have already begun to pay for their purchase. Poland allegedly turned out to be the only country that never provided any money, though it promised. It is reported that the Czech Republic plans to put about 100,000 artillery shells in September within its initiative.

According to the newspaper, it will greatly bring Czech politicians closer to the promises to give Ukraine at least half a million artillery ammunition of different caliber, mainly 155 mm purchased by Western allies. It should be reminded that on August 6 it was reported that the Czech Republic faces unexpected obstacles during the supply of shells to Ukraine.
