From 3D printer to battle: Germany handed over the Armed Forces Titan Falcon Drones (Video)

The military is already checking whether new drones can withstand the strict conditions of war in Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine received from the US-Ukrainian non-governmental organization and the German company Donaustahl GmbH several 3D-erased unmanned aerial vehicles of the long-range Titan Falcon radius.

The message about this appeared on the German Aid to Ukraine page-a private initiative that tracks the Russian-Ukrainian war-on the social network X (earlier-Twitter) on Sunday, November 19. "At the request of the US-Ukrainian non-governmental organization, the German company Donaustahl GmbH produces 3D-erased UAVs of the long-range Titan Falcon radius and supplies them to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Three such UAVs have already been made.

For its part, Defense Blog writes that two of the three drones transferred to Ukraine are currently undergoing rigid tests in the face of an operational environment, demonstrating their adaptability and resistance to different conditions. Titan Falcon has outstanding technical characteristics, in particular the striking flight duration of up to 6 hours and range up to 400 km. Wings, horizontal stabilizers and a vertical stabilizer are completely removed.

There are large compartments under the wings to install VTX (video transmitters) and RX (radios) with sufficient division. Double elevators provide a tank reservation, and fully functional flaps allow you to gently take off and sit. The developer offers a streamlined nasal part for the FPV chamber, as well as a multi -level platform for installing panoramics/inclination. There are 3 variants of wing endings (up, straight or down). The customer can also choose a regular tail or V-shaped tail.

There is even an additional part of the fuselage that supports the cartographic chamber in the abdominal part. We will remind, on November 20 we also wrote that the Ukrainian military handed over 3 thousand FPV-pings. The Ukrainians have raised UAH 235 million in three days, which will spend on the purchase of shock drones with cumulative and fragmentary ammunition. And at the end of October, the Armed Forces handed the drones of Heavy Shot, which are not on the teeth of the Russians.
