Initially, the doctor evaluated his services at 9500 hryvnias, but after surgery he again turned to the patient and asked for 11 thousand, motivating it by the fact that additional materials were allegedly used during surgery, police of Ternopil region reported. The serviceman gave the doctor not knowing what he paid for a free operation.
The doctor has already been declared suspected under Article 354 (354 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (to provide an undue benefit for himself and to receive an employee of a non-official employee, such an illegal benefit, for committing any actions using a position of interest to the employee). Previously, the same doctor had already had problems with the law. He already has a suspicion of receiving $ 5,000 from a hospital patient for influencing expert team members to obtain a disability group.
The investigation in the case is ongoing. In October last year, the leadership of the 1st City Hospital named after them was released in Lviv. Prince Leo. Prince Leo, where the allergy doctor received a bribe for assistance in establishing disabilities. In her office, during the searches, law enforcement officers found more than 2 million UAH of cash. According to police, she traded fictitious certificates of unfit for military service for health reasons.
