He noted that now the hottest point is the Mariinsky direction. During the day, the occupiers, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian soldiers in the areas of settlements of Novomikhailivka and the victory of Donetsk region. Also hot in the Avdeevsky direction, where seven attacks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the villages of Orlovka, Severene, Pervomaisk and Nevelskoye were reflected on February 21.

In general, the Mariinsky and Avdiivsky directions account for the largest number of aviation, artillery strikes and attacks of Dronov-Kamikadze. "Both in the Avdiivsky and Marja directions, our soldiers restored several positions yesterday, and it was in the Avdeevsky direction that more than a dozen Russian invaders were captured by our military," he said.

Dmitry Likhov said that in four months of operations in Avdiivka, the total losses of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation amounted to more than 47 thousand soldiers. After such losses, regrouping is required, but the enemy has some reserves. The invaders tighten new reserves and try to storm with the support of aviation in the direction of swallow and neighboring settlements.

Instead, the Armed Forces strengthen the echelorated defense, intensify additional units, create new firing positions. According to Likhovia, there are difficult fights. He added that the invaders are trying to step on, but do not have enough resources for this purpose, but despite this, the occupiers use "other" troops than those who participated in the offensive on Avdiivka.
