Uranian shells for Leopard 2 in the Russian Federation will be considered "nuclear bombs" - diplomat

According to the Russian diplomat Konstantin Gavrilov, Leopard 2 tanks, as well as BMP Bradley and Marder have sub -caliber armor -piercing shells with uranium core. Such a statement was made by Konstantin Gavrilov, the head of the Russian delegation at the OSCE forum for Security Cooperation, which on Wednesday, January 26, takes place in Vienna, reports "RIA Novosti". "We warn Western sponsors of the Kiev military machine from the promotion of nuclear provocations and blackmail," Gavrilov said. According to him, Leopard 2 tanks, as well as BMP Bradley and Marder have sub -caliber armor -piercing shells with uranium core.

The Russian diplomat noted that the use of such shells can lead to contamination of the area that allegedly similar in history, in Yugoslavia and Iraq. Gavrilov warned that if Ukraine was transferred to such shells for NATO military equipment, it will be regarded as the use of "dirty nuclear bombs against Russia with all the consequences".
