Suspect of the murder of Andrei Parubiy told about contacts with Russia - the media

To spread: the suspect in the murder of the former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy confessed to interrogations in the committed and told about contacts with Russia. The man was in touch with Russian representatives during an attempt to find a missing son, a military Armed Forces, which disappeared in the Bakhmut direction. Radio Liberty sources told about it. Investigative actions are ongoing, the official position of the suspect and his lawyers has not yet succeeded.

According to sources, the accused said that in 2023 he learned from his son's brothers that he disappeared, and immediately began to monitor the Russian social networks to find more information about the fate of his son. Subsequently, he began to communicate with the Russians who allegedly told him about his son's death. According to the suspect, representatives of the Russian Federation "justified aggression in Ukraine and accused Ukrainian high -ranking officials at its beginning.
