He fought in Iraq and Afghanistan: the Armed Forces will be prepared by the Polish General

The EU has organized a military assistance mission to support Ukraine to strengthen military potential. According to the head of the Ministry of Defense of Poland, the fact that the project was headed by its country speaks of recognition of the position of Poland in the international arena. Polish General Peter Tritek was appointed head of the EU mission to coordinate the training of Ukrainian servicemen. This was reported by the Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaschak on Twitter.

"Major-General Petro Trithek will head the international mission of training of the Ukrainian military. He will coordinate training measures for Ukrainian servicemen. It is a huge responsibility, but also the recognition of Poland's position in the international arena," the Minister reads. A 51-year-old Trithet is known to serve in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In October, the EU leadership decided to organize a military assistance mission to support Ukraine (EUMAM Ukraine), the purpose of which is to strengthen the country's military potential. The project is initiated against the backdrop of the Western countries' desire to strengthen the support of Kiev. In 2006 he served as a part of the 6th rotation of the Polish military contingent in Iraq, and held the position of chief of the operational department.

In 2008/2009 he served as a Polish unit in Afghanistan as a contingent head. From February 4, 2019, the General held the position of Deputy Head of Planning and Planning of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the General Staff of the Polish Army. From October 1, 2020 he headed the 11th armored division. It is known that the general is interested in issues related to the security and history of the army. Earlier, Focus reported that the Russian soldiers use mobilized in the Kherson region.

However, according to British intelligence, it will not help. The Russian command, in view of everything, is guided by the considerations that poorly trained Russian servicemen in Ukraine can at best be defended, but not advance. Recall that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation lost their opportunities for the offensive in Ukraine since the summer of 2022.
