Denis Murig was found guilty of "training for terrorist activity and participation in illegal armed formation". The military tribunal was judged as a citizen of the Russian Federation, but Denis Muriga is a resident of Lugansk region, originally from Crimea. It is worth noting that the Aydar Battalion is not included in the lists of prohibited organizations of the anti -terrorist committee and Rosphinmation, unlike the Azov battalion. After the release of Murig, he held various civilian positions, including the position of adviser to the mayor in the Rubizhny Luhansk region.
After the start of a full -scale Russian invasion of Murig, he was controlled by Russian troops. According to some reports, it was detained on March 31 for violation of the rules of the border crossing, arrested on May 18. After serving the administrative arrest, he was sent to the pre -trial detention center # 2 in Taganrog of the Rostov region.
