Before showing the collection, Andre Tan showed the guests a movie about what a beautiful Ukraine and what she is now experiencing because of a full -scale invasion of Russia. Ukrainian designer Andre Tan called a furore on Los Angeles Fashion Week, which took place on March 22-24, the fashion designer's press service reports. The Ukrainian Block became a separate event of the event, and on it domestic designers showed their new collections.

Tan brought to the US a fresh collection of his own Sustainable Fashion Brand RDNnt called "Open Your Eyes". It was first presented at the Paris Fashion Week, and the American public made a new, adapted option. However, the main core of the collection is preserved - these are ultra -functional, minimalistic and stylish things that represent modern youth, its moods and a thirst for self -expression.

The use of environmental materials, such as organic cotton and processed polyester, not only added the appeal of the visual style of the collection, but also raised the issues of eco-consciousness and "ethical fashion", which is very relevant in the world fashion industry. An important element of Andre Tan's show was the designer himself, "reminding the Americans about the war in Ukraine. " Before the show, the guests were shown a special mini-movie, prepared by the master's team.

The audience could see what a beautiful Ukraine, and what is happening with it now, during a full -scale invasion of Russia. "I realized that I was doing everything right when I was traveling in Los Angeles in a taxi and accidentally talked with the driver. The taxi driver told me a lot because on television it was completely stopped showing. And this is despite the fact that the war is in a fierce phase, when battles are being fought for each meter and our soldiers are killed.

I wanted to cancel the show several times because there were some difficulties, but then I realized that This week of fashion is a good opportunity to remind the world that the war is ongoing and Ukraine needs the support of the world community, "the designer said. Andre Tana was involved in the American models, but the vast majority was made by the Ukrainians, with whom Andre very much wanted to work and specifically suited for them a separate casting. He even involved local bloggers.

"American models are wonderful and very professional, I got a tremendous pleasure in cooperation with them. But again I was convinced that it was Ukrainian models that are the best in the world! In general, the experience of showing in Los Angeles made a huge impression on me. Besides the presentation of the collection and show -Rum of Ukrainian designers, we talked to the Bayer, we were taught by experienced fashion marketing and PR. Tan proudly says.
