According to the newspaper, in the Memorandum prepared for the Kremlin with an analytical center related to the Government of the Russian Federation, there was a proposal to stop cooperation with China as part of a peace agreement on Moscow favorable terms. In particular, there was a point that the Russian Federation could offer the United States to limit China's involvement in infrastructure projects that strengthen Beijing's strategic capabilities.
In addition, the document suggests that the Russian Federation can offer the US companies access to valuable resources in the occupied part of Ukraine for US companies. The memorandum also does not rule out that the Russian Federation may limit the restoration of gas exports to the EU. At the same time, the publication noted that analysts doubt the ability of the Russian Federation to help the United States to weaken China.
