Analysts say with reference to geolocation videos that Russian troops have advanced in several directions near Konstantinovka. In particular, the Institute reports the promotion of the invaders in the fields north of the village of Bila Gora and to the west along the road T0516 Toretsk-Konstantinovka in the East Nelpivka (south-east of Konstantinovka), as well as north of Yablunivka (southwest of Konstantinovka).

Also, according to ISW, the Russians came northeast of Konstantinovka near Mayky, east of the city near Stupok and Predict, south near Katerynivka and southwest near Stepanivka. In addition, the occupiers of the Armed Forces were moving south of Druzhkivka near Poltava and Rusyna Yar, as well as southwest near Vladimir and Sofiyivka.

The ISW also provides unconfirmed data from Russian bloggers about the occupation of Katerynivka south of Konstantinovka and the advancement west of Naponivka and southwest of Kleban-Bick. According to analysts, Russia aims to capture the entire Donetsk region and promotion to administrative borders with Dnipropetrovsk region.

At the same time, the ISW noted that the Russians did not make confirmed progress in the north of the Kharkiv region and in the Kupyansk direction, and were not able to advance near Siversk, Dobropillya and in the direction of Pokrovsk.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 on September 12 reported that there were two fighting collisions in the Kramatorsk direction in the Stupok area, and in the Toretsky direction the invaders conducted 12 attacks near the settlements of Katerynivka, Rusyn Yar, Mayak, Sofiyivka, Poltava and Alexandra. Also, 60 offensive actions of the Russians Ukrainian fighters stopped in the direction of Pokrovsk.
