It is now known that the incident happened on August 2 near one of the villages of the Neshaiv district of the Volgograd region. The work of the object itself is stopped after a number of explosions at the energy facility, reports "RBC-Ukraine" with reference to sources.

Journalists write that the residents of the village of Dynamovsky, Neshaevsky district of the Volgograd region, heard explosions, after which the gas pipeline failed. Rescuers, law enforcement officers and repair crews are currently on the scene of the incident to eliminate consequences. Currently, representatives of a gas transportation company, which ensures the functioning of this facility, calculates losses as a result of explosions.

It is reported that the supply of gas by the main gas pipeline "Central Asia - Center" was stopped indefinitely. Open sources are known to be built in the 1960s during the USSR. Gasogine is currently a system of Gazprom gas pipelines and transports natural gas from Turkmenistan across Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation. This highway also provides energy with a number of facilities related to the Russian military-industrial complex.
