The Russian army will receive remotely controlled PTRC "Cornet": what is known about modernization

To spread: it is a version of "Cornet-EM", which is allegedly capable of detecting and affecting both fixed and maneuverable goals in remote control mode. The Russian High -Denial Systems Holding has completed the test of a modernized anti -tank complex (PTRC) "Cornet" with remote control.

As reported on February 17, the Russian profile edition of "War Obress", the starting unit may already be supplied to the army of the Russian Federation, but while the system will be shown at the IDEX-2025 exhibition in the UAE. It is argued that during the tests, the remote control system has undergone a number of landfill tests, demonstrating stable work in various scenarios.

Now the operators of the complex can control the fire at a distance, not in the immediate vicinity of the starting unit, which reduces the risk of counter -backer fire. The high -precision systems representative noted that through the remote control system, the operator can identify the target, identify it accurately and direct the rocket with a joystick. The guidance remains effective both against fixed objects and against the purpose of maneuvering.

"The starting unit is intended to ensure the combat use of the Cornet-EM PTRC in remote control. The uniqueness of the system is ensured by the detection, recognition and automated guidance of the launching mark of the starting installation on a moving or immovable target," the publication reads. The official presentation of the updated Cornet will be held at the IDEX-2025 International Exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

The Russian delegation will present a modernized version of the complex, which can attract the attention of foreign customers. Although the details of modernization are not yet revealed, there is a similar solution from the Kalashnikov concern that has implemented the same idea in the anti-tank complex "competition-M".
