"Do you not see what we fight for? Do you not see that our boys give their lives? Not just perform, not just say, but their lives defend their right not only the African continent, but all people on our planet be free", - said the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
In her opinion, the Great War in Ukraine should somehow provide freedom to Africans and peace around the world. Zakharova also talked about the fundamental position of Africa in the inadmissibility of imposing a foreign point of view. "They are not going to dance under someone's tune, and they will form their attitude themselves, based on knowledge of the situation, knowledge of history and their national interests. This was really striking," she said in an interview with TASS.
