The Ukrainian young man Denis Kostev escaped from the Russian Federation, although before that he assured that he supports the actions of the Russians in Ukraine. The guy communicated with the Kremlin's special services, did not believe in salvation, but managed to go to his family in Western Europe.

Denis's liberation details were told by the journalists of The Wall Street Journal. The article refers to the fate of Denis Kostyev and how his behavior was changed under the influence of Russian propaganda and in the Russian environment. At the time of the invasion, he was in a kindergarten because his parents were deprived of parental rights. At the time of rescue, the guy turned 18 years old: he became an adult and received a summons in the Russian army.

During the occupation, the teenager removed the rollers of Tiktok, in which he ridiculed the invaders and President Vladimir Putin. He spoke openly to foreign journalists of Scripps News, who was interviewed. Subsequently, Denis was taken to the territory of Crimea - to the so -called "children's recreation camp". Here with him and other Ukrainian children met representatives of the Russian authorities who asked them, where they would like to live and what to do.

After that, the guy was in Moscow, and there were videos on the network in which he glorifies Putin. His speeches began to repay on Russian portals: he became "the face of Russian propaganda," the journalists said. "The victory will be for us!" Maxim said. However, there are testimonies of people with whom the guy corresponded for some time. In some reports, he said that he was recruited by Russian special services.

After psychological pressure, he was forced to read texts in support of the Russian Federation. He suffered from this because he continued to be a supporter of Ukraine. Denis's relatives who went abroad while he was in the Kherson kindergarten, decided to save him. To do this, the girlfriend of the family Olga Gurul and Svetlana Panchenko, grandmother, turned to the organization Save Ukraine. Save Ukraine staged a departure: the route ran through Belarus, the escape took place in December 2023.
