In the United Kingdom, a moment of silence on the anniversary of the war in Ukraine will be announced - Risha Snak

The head of the British government called for locals to demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine this day and honor the memory of the victims of the war. In the UK, a nationwide moment of silence on the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine was declared. This was stated by Prime Minister Risha Snak on the government's official website.

It will take place at 11:00 local time (13:00 in Kiev), and people from all over the country have been urged again to stand on the side of Ukrainians who have been fighting for freedom for a year. "This national moment will give the public of the United Kingdom the opportunity to give proper courage to the Ukrainian people and to demonstrate the unbreakable solidarity of Great Britain with the country," says Risha Snak.

The moment of silence is dedicated to people who died in the last year, so the UK government calls for the population and organizations not to remain indifferent and honor their memory. Russia's war against Ukraine has brought a lot of grief, and the British pay tribute to the courage and stability of the Ukrainian people, as the head of the British government says.

"The unjustified attack of Russia again brought war and destruction on our continent, forced millions to leave their homes and destroy families throughout Ukraine and Russia. I am incredibly proud Faith in freedom, " - summed up Risha Snak. On February 16, the NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov warned of the massive shelling of Ukraine until February 24. He believes that the anniversary of the war will be a difficult day for Ukrainians, but it is necessary to maintain maximum peace.
