According to Deputy Minister of Energy Svetlana Grinchuk, the issue of continuing the transit agreement of Russian gas will be resolved by mid -spring 2024. Grinchuk noted that among such countries is Italy, which can now do without Russian energy. Austria is also actively implementing a plan that will help her reduce supplies from the Russian Federation. In addition, the European Commission is also engaged in the search for new "blue fuel" suppliers and is introducing new technologies to reduce consumption.

The official also added that the Ukrainian gas transmission system does not threaten collapse if the transit of Russian gas stops, since the infrastructure is ready for this. Svetlana Grinchuk said.
