Russia is preparing to produce "stolen" in the USA drones C-70 "hunt" already in 2024

The "hunter" should become the inconspicuous carrier of the air-air and air-earth missiles. Probably, the Russians are already testing it in the Astrakhan region. The Novosibirsk Aviation Plant, a subsidiary of Sukhoy, is prepared for the beginning of serial production of heavy UAV "Hunting" in the second half of 2024. This was reported by Defense Mirror. Sukhoy has been developing the first Russian heavy shock drone C-70 "Hunting" since 2011.

The first experimental prototype rose to the sky on August 3, 2019, followed by the following model with a flat jet. It is designed to reduce radar visibility, which was released from the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant in December 2021. The serial production will be focused on the heavy reconnaissance and reconnaissance UAVs called C-70 "Hunting-B". Several prototypes are now at the final stage of complex tests, with a special focus on optimizing the software of the weapons management system.

Serial models are expected to have a narrow-section nozzle that aims to reach a 2-2. 5-fold decrease in the infrared signature and a slight reduction in the effective reflective surface in the posterior hemisphere of the UAV. Recently, researchers have published a satellite shot of the Akhtubinsk Astrakhan region of Russia, where you can see an object that is very similar to a heavy drone "Hunting". It is likely that the drone is tested before the start of full -scale production.

All C-70 machines are planned to be equipped with terminals for the exchange of tactical information and telecode information on protected KDL-I radio communication channels (0. 96-1. 25 GHz). This technology is designed to ensure UAV operation under the management of Su-30CM2 and SU-57 crews.

The range of communication channel will be forecasts from 350 to 450 km, which will allow these crews of multi-purpose fighters to deploy C-70 as "unmanned" driven "without the need to enter the login machines into the zone of anti-aircraft agricultural installation of the enemy. C-70 "hunting" with a length of fuselage 14 meters and the wingspan of 19 meters, comparable to the MiG-29, has a runway up to 25 tons, including combat load of up to 3 tons.

Although the composition of the 3-ton combat cargo remains unknown, the initial studies of the project provided a wide range of managed aviation weapons, from anti-aircraft missiles to cruise missiles tactical aviation. The aircraft has internal compartments for weapons similar to the Su-57 fighter, which allows weapons beyond visibility, including the air-air-air-air-land missiles and air-land missiles X-59MK2, capable of evasion of radar detection.
