In Russia, the number of people who support negotiations with Ukraine to complete hostilities are growing. This is evidenced by the results of the survey conducted by the Levada Center. The results indicate that 54% of respondents spoke for negotiations, which is 5% more than in July.

38% were also opposed to 4% less than in July. 72% of respondents would support the decisions of Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war against Ukraine this week (20% opposed). However, only 31% would agree to peace in exchange for the return of its territories to Ukraine (60% disagree). Only 20% are ready for any concessions to Ukraine, while 71% are not ready.

The best condition for a peace agreement is an immediate ceasefire is 60% of respondents, for 18% it is acceptable, and 14% consider it unacceptable. According to the results of the survey, the peace with the conditions of return of captured territories is considered unacceptable to most participants.

Thus, most Russians, as before, want the rapid end of the war on the current front line, without the return of the captured territories, 72% oppose Ukraine's accession to NATO as a condition for the termination of conflict. At the same time, 47% believe that the war in Ukraine causes more harm than benefits, while 28% are of the opposite opinion. 60% of Russians believe that they are successful, while 23% disagree.
