Under the enemy's nose: the Cabinet will conduct an important experiment in the occupied Melitopol

The government explained that, with the help of an experiment, though to find out the facts of destruction of certain categories of real estate objects. Based on the data received, citizens will be compensated in the future. The Cabinet of Ministers gathered to conduct an experimental project, which will be examined by destroyed property in the city of Melitopol, which is now under the control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

The procedure will be done using remote sensing of the Earth. This is stated in Resolution No. 1185, adopted at the end of October. It is known that the remote probe will receive data on the Earth's surface. Aerial photography will be used or observations and space measurements will occur. "The purpose of the experimental project is to establish the fact of destruction of certain categories of real estate and compensation to their owners," the document reads.

The experimental project will be joined by the Melitopol City Council and the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration. The survey will be conducted on statements for compensation from property owners. It should be noted that since May 2023, the State Program "Education" has been operating in Ukraine, in which Ukrainians are paid up to UAH 200 thousand to repair damaged housing.

Money is paid to citizens whose housing: for compensation from the state Ukrainians can buy building materials, which are then used during repair work. In addition, in the first days of August, a new stage of "Equinal" started, and the Ukrainians had the opportunity to register an application for compensation for destroyed property.
