The comment on the devastation on the night of October 16 was heard on the air of the All -Ukrainian TEMRAFON. According to the official, the alarm in the area lasted about four hours. In the Mirgorod district, explosions were heard, the air defense forces worked in the region.

Pronin stated that the Russians did not hit civilian and military infrastructure. The explosions damaged 50 homes. Three people were injured, a 10-year-old child was among them. No one died. "The region operates in the region that inspect damaged property. Rescuers got the injured people from the rubble. All the victims were taken to hospitals in a state of moderate severity," the official said.

It should be noted that the first attack of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on Mirgorod has taken place for the last six months. It is evident that the enemy aimed at two airfields: under Starokostiantynov in Khmelnytskyi and near Mirgorod in Poltava region.

At the same time, Mirgorod flew "Shahda" from the south, and also ballistic and aviation missiles that crossed the border with the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation - that is, from the East. In the meantime, the Old Councils were traveled by drones launched from the south. It should be noted that on October 13, the Air Force spokesman Yuri Ignat noted that the Russians took an operational pause to collect a certain number of missiles for massive blows in Ukraine.
