"It would mean big problems": Kuleba denied that Siyarto and Orban pro -Russian politicians

The Foreign Minister noted that this breaks the recognition of Hungarian representatives of Ukraine's sovereignty. According to him, regardless of "different statements", there is no violation of bilateral relations. Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba did not agree that his Hungarian colleague Peter Siyarto and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban made pro-Russian statements. This is known from an interview published in Telex on January 30.

"If it were confirmed, it would mean big problems for both the EU and Hungary. But I think they are pro -Russian. Said Kuleba. He confirmed that Siyarto is in favor of peace talks with Russia and does not believe in resolving the conflict. The Ukrainian Minister confirmed that his position differs in this matter. According to him, Russia can only be forced into meaningful negotiations on the front.

"If we were sitting at the negotiation table without this, Russia would only have won the time that would use to prepare for the continuation of the fight against even greater dynamics," the Foreign Minister explained. He also mentioned the statement of the Hungarian policy that in the event of the collapse of Ukraine, Budapest would apply for Transcarpathia.

"There are different statements in each country in each country, there are different statements in each country, but we cannot allow them to violate our bilateral relations," Kuleba emphasized. We will remind, it is about the leader of the Hungarian far -right party Laszlo Torotskaya. He stated that in the case of "termination of statehood" of Ukraine through the war, Hungary would apply for Transcarpathia. On January 29, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto met with Dmitry Kuleba in Uzhgorod.
