The Kremlin "recognized" the destruction of the A-50 over the Azov Sea: how did the tactics of the enemy change (photo)

The A-50 aircraft is a key tool for Russian operations on Ukraine. It provides early prevention of air threats and functionality of command and control, told in British intelligence. The air space forces of the Russian Federation began to operate another aircraft of the far radar detection of the A-50 after the destruction of the Ukrainian soldiers of this model over the Azov Sea on January 14. This was reported at the UK Ministry of Defense in X (Twitter) on January 19.

"On January 14, the Russian A-50 almost certainly exploded and later fell into the Sea of Azov," the message reads. The Britain's defense department said that the A-50 aircraft is a key tool for Russian operations against Ukraine. In particular, the board provides early prevention of air threats and functionality of command and control.

On January 17, the air and space forces of the Russian Federation could begin the operation of another A-50 side, but above the ground and within the Russian territory near the Krasnodar Territory. British intelligence believes that these actions may indicate a decrease in the risk of aircraft and attempt to keep the rest of the A-50.

The British Ministry of Defense emphasized that despite the lack of official position of the Russian Federation on the loss of the A-50 aircraft, such actions of the enemy may demonstrate a silent recognition by the Kremlin's successful operation of the Ukrainian military with the destruction of the Russian board. Intelligence added that if the loss of the A-50 aircraft was an accident, then such a solution would hardly be needed.

On the evening of January 14, the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces destroyed the aircraft of the far radar detection of the A-50 and the air control of the enemy IL-22 over the Azov Sea. The Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny confirmed the success of the operation. On January 15, the speaker of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov noted that the Kremlin allegedly had no information that any Russian planes were knocked down by Ukrainian fighters.
