The Russian Federation is expanding the main manufacturer of "Shahaneda" in "Alabuga": Satellite images appeared

This was reported by the American CNN TV channel with reference to satellite images. Meanwhile, the intensity of drones in Ukraine has reached record values. In June 2025, Russia launched almost 5500 "Shahmed" or their analogues, which is 16 times more than in June 2024. And on July 9, 728 drones were released in Ukraine in one night - a record figure. "Alabuga" has now completely moved from the Iranian franchise "Shahaneda" to localized production.

The workshops expanded so quickly that soon drones will be exported there. Satellite images taken from the end of 2024 to mid -July this year show at least eight new warehouses. Some of them are still being built. Image analysis revealed a significant expansion of housing for workers at the facility. The picture of July 12 shows at least 104 rectangular buildings with a dormitory. There were only 15 such buildings in February.

After the construction of the building, up to 40,000 workers will be placed, which will significantly increase UAV production. There is evidence of teenagers involving drones and construction work. Current production volumes in Alabuz are kept in strict secrecy. Timur Shagivaleev CEO recently declared the release of thousands of drones-Kamikadze "Geranium", but now has increased nine times.

CNN sources in Ukrainian military intelligence point out that in 2024 the company planned to produce 10,000 UAV "Herbera". Former UN Arms Inspector, Head of the Institute of Science and International Security in the United States, David Albright has monitored Alabuga's expansion since 2022. According to him, the Russian Federation is aimed at further increase in production and long -term contracts.

"Alabuga" essentially turned into a self -sufficient power: aluminum bars come there, from which engines are made. Microelectronics is made of stored chips, and fuselages - fiberglass.
