Its main weapons - the system of HR, which operates at several levels: thanks to this, the aircraft does not destroy the drone physically, but disorients it in the air - "Shahped" changes the trajectory, may fall or simply not reach the target. Such capabilities allow you to reduce the load on the air defense system and save rockets, which are ten times more expensive. The basis is Shark's serial aircraft, which was a civil sports model before adaptation.
But the technical characteristics are striking: in addition, Shark received a modernized Rotax engine with a reinforced generator that feeds mufflers and electronics. From an altitude of 1800 m, it is able to cover the area with a radius of up to 4. 5 km. The Armed Forces Commander Oleksandr Sirsky emphasized that light -motor aviation will play an important role in Ukraine's protection. Shark is only the first swallow: due to its effectiveness, it is planned to expand such platforms at the front.
