The OSINT investigative noted that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began to hide more skillfully helicopter sites. One of them was moved to the shore of the Azov Sea 160 km from the positions of the Armed Forces. In the resort area on the east coast of Crimea, the Russian command created a new base where military helicopters of different types were moved.

The base began to be built in the fall of 2022, when the Armed Forces expelled the invaders from the Right Bank of Kherson region and rocket strikes began to threaten Chaplins. About where Russian aircraft are now hiding, the OSINT investigative with Nick Tatarigami_ua on the social network X (earlier-Twitter) told.

The OSINT investigative noted that satellite photos make it possible to look at the new air basement of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, where in 2023 there were military helicopters. The base is located at a point with coordinates 45. 89054, 34. 89551 on the Arbat Arrow in Crimea. The distance to the Armed Forces is about 160 km. Earlier, in 2021, there was a boarding house "Volna" on the site of the air base, the author explained.

The photo of space shows that on the shore of the Azov Sea within the territory of the boarding house is a regular soil platform. In the fall of 2022, when the Armed Forces began to release Kherson, construction began in this area. Tatarigami_ua has gained almost a dozen satellite photographs, which can be seen how helicopter platforms gradually erect. Finally, in May 2023, helicopters appeared here.

In the photo you can count nine aircraft: the investigator indicates that these are Mi-24, Mi-8, Ka-52 models and perhaps Mi-28. It is also evident that the Russians have built about 20 helicopters here that are ready to accept new machines. The buildings where pilots can live were preserved around the investigators.

The author suggested that in the first days of the October Ukrainian offensive, the Russian authorities would have had to translate the Chaplins aircraft at a greater distance from the Armed Forces. Previously, at a distance of 50 km from the Dnieper there were 12 aircraft. According to Tatarigami_ua, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began to hide secret bases more skillfully, where they store military equipment.

At the same time, he mentioned that this is especially important in view of the arrivals near Berdyansk and Lugansk. It should be noted that on October 17, the media reported arrivals on the helicopter sites of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation near Berdyansk and Lugansk.
