"Small Spot": Fuel with sunken tankers of the Russian Federation polluted about 18 km

The Russian authorities in Sevastopol assure that there is a small "fuel spot" near the shores of the city. However, the monitoring channels will announce the spread of petroleum products from the tankers off the shores of the city to a considerable distance. Fueling from Russian tankers who sank near the port of the Caucasus a few weeks ago, had already sailed to the shores of the occupied Sevastopol and Balaklava Bay. About it reports the monitoring group "Crimean Wind" on Telegram.

"A single maalelen aunt, aha. And all the birds found on the beaches that are from each other in tens of kilometers were smeared from this spot. The map shows the location of the beaches," the message reads. So the monitoring group responded to the post of the so -called local governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev. The official stated that only a "small spot" came to Sevastopol, and cases of finding birds in the fuel oil were "single".

The monitors also point out that while the Russian governor of Sevastopol talks about "a single muzzle spot", then the birds smeared in this oil are already found near the shores of Evpatoria. "It is worth noting that birds in" fuel fur coat "cannot fly, which means that the fuel oil is already drifting along the western coast of Crimea," the monitoring group said.

According to the Group "Krmsky Vetter", there are now 18 km of the coast between the village of Yakovenkovo in the Lenin district of Crimea to the village of Yakovenkovo before the Reserve "Opeck" already contaminated with fuel oil. On December 15, Russian media reported that two Tankers of the Russian Federation "Volgoneft-212" and "Volgoneft-239" began to sink near the Kerch Strait.

According to the media, the tankers broke in half with powerful waves, while both vessels transported up to 8 thousand tons of fuel oil later the Telegram-channel Baza noted that 14 members of the tanker crew "Volgoneft-239" would be evacuated later due to unfavorable weather. From the tanker "Volgoneft-212" evacuated 11 people, among them were in serious condition, and also reported about one dead.

On December 17, the Russian governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamine Kondratiev confirmed that the fuel oil from the tankers had polluted tens of kilometers of the beach. The locals publish videos contaminated in the oil birds and complain of a sharp smell of oil, causing tears and vomiting. Later, the media investigated and found out how the Russian river tankers were in the Black Sea and led to a fuel oil spill.
