At the same time, the laser gun itself is a very thin and expensive device. It requires a constant source of energy. And if we want to knock down rockets, then such a source should be very powerful. No wonder one of the use of laser weapons is the ship platform.

That is, in the field, it is also a question of mobility. In addition, the use of these weapons is limited during rain, fog and snowfall (the laser beam is scattered). In addition, this weapon is risky on the front line. In the case of a trident, the radius of action is up to 5 km, which is actually a Kill zone for FPV-aromas and mortar. Therefore, there must be a place for each weapon.

In my opinion, laser weapons will be a great complement to the air defense system, nuclear power plants or other strategic objects. Then these laser guns can be connected to powerful stationary power sources, create good shelters for them and use against enemy drones, rockets or managed airbombs of all types.
