According to a survey conducted among 1634 respondents in 50 regions of the Russian Federation from June 22 to June 28, it turned out that the proportion of those who support negotiations between Russia and Ukraine increased to 53%. Compared to last month, where this figure was 45%, there is a significant growth.
According to the results of a survey conducted after a bad march of fighters of Wagner PEC to Moscow, the proportion of those who support the continuation of hostilities decreased to 39%. This means a significant decrease compared to the previous indicator.
According to the newspaper, in a telephone comment, the director of Levada-Center Denis Volkov noted that "Russian citizens were scared of the consequences of the rebellion carried out by Wagner militants on Moscow", fearing that this could lead to serious failures for Russian troops in Ukraine. He also added that many people generally want this war to end as soon as possible.
