"Let the crane open and all": Putin plans to create a gas hub in Turkey

According to the Russian President, gas supply to Europe can also be restored thanks to the surviving branch of "Nord Stream-2". He also considers the Turkish direction promising. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia can create the largest gas hub in Turkey and continue to increase gas supply to Europe through the Black Sea. About it reports "Interfax". The Kremlin head recalled that Russian gas exports go to Turkey with the help of the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream.

Putin considers the Turkish direction economically appropriate and safe in terms of fuel supplies. The Russian president also stated that gas supply to Europe in the winter can be restored by the surviving branch of Nord Stream-2. According to him, a joint decision with Europe representatives on the supply of gas on the surviving branch "North Stream-2" is needed, but instead he called that the Russians do not allow the examination of this branch.

"Russia is ready by the EU side by the beginning of these supplies," Putin explained. "They want - let them just open up. " Earlier, the focus understood who and why damaged the Nord Stream gas pipelines. The gas pipeline threads were damaged intentionally, NATO representatives say. Recall that Europe has found a new opportunity to replace Russian gas. Blue fuel is supplied from Turkey to Europe through Tanap gas pipeline. Its capacity is planned to increase from 16 billion cubic meters to 32.
