Poland after the Russian attack: flights are restricted by December 9, Tusk promises modernization of the army

To spread: Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said the country would continue a large-scale program to strengthen its armed forces after the incident with Russian drones that violated the state's airspace. At the same time, Poland has imposed restrictions on flights along the eastern border, which will be valid until December 9. According to Al Jazeera, Tusk stressed that after the incident, the Polish army will continue the "major modernization program".

His statement was heard after the Polish and Union forces of NATO intercepted and destroyed several drones that flew into the territory of Poland during a massive Russia Air Force in Ukraine. The Polish Aeronavigation Services Agency specified that the new rules concern the border areas with Belarus and Ukraine. According to him, the decision was made at the request of the Armed Forces in connection with the needs of national security.

According to information, civil drones are forbidden to fly in these areas. At the same time, general purposes - including small aircraft and helicopters for private or entertaining use - can only fly during the day with a radio station and a transponder. Night departments in such conditions will be completely prohibited. We will remind, on the night of September 10, Poland for the first time knocked Russian "Shahda" in its airspace.
