The US believes that the Iranian UAV plant in Russia will be launched by 2024 - CNN

According to John Kirby's White House Representative, Iran uses the Caspian Sea route to transfer drones, cartridges and mortar shells to Russia. The Iranian UAV plant will be launched by the beginning of 2024. This was stated by US National Security Council John Kirby, CNN writes. Iran supplies equipment for the construction of the plant, as well as completely collected drones to Russia through the Caspian Sea.

From the summer of 2022 the Russian Federation has purchased hundreds of UAV from Tehran. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is widely used in the war against Ukraine. According to Kirby, Iran uses the route on the Caspian Sea to roll over drones, cartridges and mortar shells to Russia. Tehran uses vessels that do not transmit data to track their movement. The states are convinced that the goods are delivered from the Amirabad to Mahachkala.

"In recent weeks, Russia has used Iranian UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) for the task of strikes in Kiev and intimidation of the Ukrainian population, and it seems that the Russian-Iranian military partnership is deepening," Kirby said. According to him, the Russian Federation and Iran support each other. Both countries are now blocked for international trade and financial systems. It was reported that Kirby also said that the Iranian drones were being built in Tatarstan.
