The Ukrainian General spoke about the successful actions of the Ukrainian army, which intercepted a strategic initiative on the front line.

It should be noted that the United States is announced once or twice a month about the allocation of regular military assistance package to Ukraine. The extreme package was reported on June 27: it included additional ammunition for air defense, armored vehicles, as well as demining. Meanwhile, the government of President Joe Baiden has not dared to pass the ATACMS missiles to Ukraine, but Senator Jim Rish has hinted that the decision was quite possible.

ATCMS missiles are able to hit the target at a distance of 300 km and fly at a speed of 1500 m/s - they will reach the occupied Crimea. In May 2023, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov explained why these shells did not receive the Armed Forces: the reason is the fear that they will "hit not there".
