The EU is ready to complete the supply of Russian gas. There they are actively working to fill the fuel storage facilities before the beginning of the future heating season. This was stated by the EU Commissioner on Paolo Gentiloni's economy, NDTV reports. “We are well prepared by resisting the extreme use of gas blackmail by Russia. We are not afraid of Putin's decisions. Of course, we ask the Russians to adhere to contracts, but if they do not, we are ready to respond, ”the official said.

Video of the day, according to Gentiloni, in the European Union gas reserves are currently about 80 percent due to diversification of deliveries, although the situation in different countries is different. As noted earlier, natural gas prices in Europe can increase to the maximum against the backdrop of the timing of the renewal of the Nord Stream gas pipeline. The situation can worsen when gas supplies in the EU are depleted.
